The OPS Mini-Singers Chorus
This is a chorus made up of fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth grade boys and girls; it reflects the musical talent of our district and is open to all students throughout the district. The Mini-Singer chorus was suggested by the Superintendent of Schools in 1975 as an organization to represent Omaha Public Schools at special events. It is composed of 60 auditioned treble singers from throughout the district. They rehearse weekly and perform for district, civic, and business functions. The group is directed by Phillip Schorg and Jean Murray. Accompanied by Janelle Sollenberger.
