A Message from Primero
The SchoolCafé team is always working to improve your
experience! We want to pass along a quick note regarding some minor updates to
student balances when making payments. In the past, SchoolCafé required all balance
updates to be initiated from the school district to reflect on student
accounts. However, we would often see some confusion from parents after
successful payments were made and their child’s account did not automatically
reflect an updated balance. Moving forward we are excited to announce that
student account balances will immediately update based on the successful
payment. Please note that payments can still take a little time to post at the
school cafeteria (same as before). We hope this will remove any confusion and
provide clarity on your child’s account balance. Thank you for using

Omaha Public Schools is proud to announce we are upgraded our
Lunch Account Software to a new system called Primero Edge. Primero Edge
offers an easy-to-use way for parents/guardians to securely and conveniently
pay for school meals through SCHOOLCAFE.COM. The district changed to Schoolcafe.com
which was available to you July 1, 2016.
Some of the key features include:
account balances have been carried over to the 2016-17 school year unless a
request was made to refund the student’s balance.
Note: A $2.00 minimum balance is required and a 5% convenience fee per transaction
amount will be charged. More information

Other Payment Options
Cash or checks are always accepted at the
school. Whether you bring the money personally or send it with your
child, please utilize one of our prepayment envelopes or you may
download and print out a pre-formated #10 envelope or include the form
in your envelope. Turn in the prepaid deposits to the teacher,
cafeteria staff, or office.
If you send cash with your child please place it in a sealed envelope and write your child's complete name, grade, and student ID on the envelope. Cash is deposited into your childs account the same day it is received.
