OPS to Host Free Common Sense Parenting Workshops
The Omaha Public Schools Counseling Office, in collaboration with OPS social workers, the ESL Office, Title I Office, Office of Family, School and Community Engagement and Boys Town, will host a series of Common Sense Parenting Workshops the first Tuesday of each month beginning Tuesday, Feb. 7 through Tuesday, May 2. Teaching Your Child Self-Discipline
Strategies for using positive, effective discipline with your child and helping him or her develop the skill of self-discipline.
May 2, 2017 I 6-7:30 p.m.
Helping Your Child Make Good Decisions
A focus on teaching your child an effective, step-by-step problem-solving method (SODAS) that can empower him or her to make good decisions.
