Gilmore: Consultant helps OPS principals tap their wellspring of power

Verna Cornelia Price, author of "The Power of People,” led a professional development seminar for OPS school leaders.


The Minnesota Humanities Center and the Omaha Public Schools have a partnership funded by the Sherwood Foundation that provides educators classes that will help them enhance the education of their students.

Verna Cornelia Price is the newest scholar to the OPS family.

“I am extremely delighted to have Dr. Price join our amazing, talented group of scholars offering professional development to OPS educators. She is a gifted orator with boundless energy and a passionate advocate for the success of all children,” said Eleanor Coleman, the Minnesota Humanities Center education strategy consultant.
